The monthly Tendanciel report, which replaces the monthly Civil Aviation Observatory, was published on 26 December by the DGAC. It shows a slight increase in air traffic (+2.1%) for November, "generally one of the lowest months for air transport", as the report points out. On a year-to-date basis, however, there was an increase of 2.9% in 2014. The decline in the domestic market (-2.5%) - particularly noticeable on the Paris-Marseille and Paris-Nice routes (-4.2% and -1.9% this month, -7.3% and -5.2% since the beginning of 2014), which face competition from the TGV - has therefore been offset by the boom in international traffic (+3.6%). Also worth noting is the strong growth at Basel-Mulhouse airport (+12.4% in November and +11.0% over 2014), while Paris CDG (+2.7%) grew more significantly than Orly (+0.2%).
