Paris: glamorous rebirth for the Hilton Opéra

The Hilton Paris Opéra hotel has completed its transformation, at the end of a vast renovation plan designed to reconcile the building's historic heritage with the modern comforts expected by business travellers from all over the world.

It cost almost 44.5 million euros - 50 million dollars - to transform one of the icons of the Paris hotel industry. This week, the Hilton Paris Opéra officially unveiled the new face of a building inaugurated more than 120 years ago, on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition. "We are delighted to be able to restore this flagship of the Paris hotel industry to its former glory, following a major renovation programme," says Simon Vincent, President and CEO of Hilton Worldwide in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). In total, the Hilton Paris Opéra hotel offers 268 rooms and suites, in addition to the famous Grand Salon, a bar, a restaurant and numerous meeting and event spaces available to Meetings & Events clients.
