The study published by Ford surveyed some 5,500 commuters in six major European cities. A third of those surveyed found the commute to work increasingly stressful, and more than one in four found it increasingly unpredictable. What's more, according to the same study, 63% of commuters arrive late for work at least once a month because of a mishap during their journey. This trend is particularly noticeable among professionals working in London (80%) and Rome (77%), with Paris in third place (67%).
