B&B Hotels, the embodiment of new generation of establishments super économiques, with its Econochic concept launched in 2006, is opening a new page in this history with an ambitious renovation plan, aimed at transforming 160 hotels, including more than 80 this year. The hotel chain and its partner Foncière des Régions will be investing €100 million.

Within the next three months, the first hotels to be renovated will feature a friendlier, cosier style. This programme includes more dynamic facades and a lobby designed as a garden lounge to create a warmer welcome. This lobby is more than just a place to pass through, and lends itself to multiple uses, such as work meetings between colleagues, or even events. This lobby also opens onto the breakfast room, with its lively, colourful atmosphere. The rooms follow the same trend, with decor that embodies the spirit of the destination.
"The pioneering spirit of B&B Hotels is once again at work in this vast renovation programme, which demonstrates the ability of our hotel chain to challenge itself for the benefit of its customers. The homogenisation of the network through this revisiting of the Econochic concept allows B&B Hôtels to mark the capacity for innovation for a range of hotels that has always been committed to offering the best value for money to its customers", explains Vincent Quandalle, Managing Director of B&B Hôtels France.
This development is in line with the brand's expansion ambitions, with 80 new outlets due to open by 2020, bringing the total number of outlets in France to 335 by that date, compared with 252 at present.
