Emirates thinks bigger in Paris

A few days after announcing his decline in the US marketEmirates is taking the opposite approach in Paris. The Dubai-based airline is expanding its French catalogue by increasing capacity to and from Paris. To achieve this, Emirates will be setting up its A380 two-class on 6 of the 20 weekly flights linking the two airports. By adopting this new configuration, the carrier is adding around a hundred seats (98 to be exact) on each flight concerned compared with the three-class version. This increase in supply (+5.7%) will come into force on 1 July, although the company had hoped for more: " Given the impossibility of obtaining traffic rights Emirates has decided to increase the capacity of its aircraft to meet the demand in France, but above all from foreign tourists and business travellers." said the press release published on 15 May.

The announcement of this increase in Paris service comes at a special time for the airline. This year Emirates is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its presence in France. The airline is celebrating this milestone in its own way by strengthening its position in the French market. The Emirates A380 will soon be making its debut on theNice airport - in place of the Boeing 777-300-ER - contributing to the increase in capacity (+11.5%) offered from France.
