
The Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese will reopen its doors on 1 July following major renovation work by Jean-Philippe Nuel, in a spirit that combines Italian dolce vita and French art de vivre contemporary design. Located in a quiet street in the centre of RomeThe five-star hotel is housed in a former nineteenth-century palace near Via Veneto and Piazza di Spagna and comprises 78 rooms and suites. It features new, more spacious suites, three large function rooms and a wellness component with a new fitness area and SofitelFIT Wellness and MyBed Sleep programmes that transform the bathroom into a veritable sanctuary of relaxation. With panoramic views over the gardens of Villa Borghese and St Peter's Basilica, its roof terrace is home to the Settimo restaurant, where chef Giuseppe d'Alessio revisits the classics of Roman cuisine.
