Lille
Lille airport to close for 39 hours

L'airport Lillewhich began its transformation at the end of the year 2018will have to close its doors. The renovation of the main runway leaves those in charge of the Lille hub with no other option: " for an unavoidable period of 39 hours, we are forced to suspend flight operations on our platform, preventing any landings or take-offs from Monday 5 August at 23:00 to Wednesday 7 August 2019 at 14:00 "explains the management. Business travellers and holidaymakers will therefore have to adjust their flight plans, as airlines transfer their operations to other airports, in particular to Paris-CDG and Ostend. Lille airport will then set up a service of coach transfer - free of charge and without reservation - on 6 and 7 August to transport the passengers concerned. Details of the new flight allocation are available at airport website.
