The Emirates lounge is open again in Dubai, with new access conditions

Slowly but surely, the routine of business travel and its obligatory points of passage are regaining their rights. Admittedly, the routine has changed, you now have to come forward masked, and access procedures have evolved, but little by little business travellers are regaining access to these premium offers which tend to reduce the impact of a busy flight schedule. Since Wednesday morning, in Dubai, the airline's lounge Emirates is open again. This salon, located in the Hall B from Terminal 3 has seen its capacity reduced, and the airline has put in place a series of adjustments to meet the new health requirements. In order to limit contact, passengers will access the lounge by biometric doors using facial recognition. On the buffet side, dishes are now offered in hermetically sealed tins, and drinks in single-serve bottles. To coincide with this reopening, the chauffeur-driven car service, offered free of charge to First Class and Business Class passengers, also resumed service on 1 July.

At the same time, Finnair also reopened its Schengen lounge atHelsinki. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., the lounge also offers a limited selection of food and beverages, and has a very high standard of service. reduced capacity. However, passengers departing on flights outside the Schengen area whose ticket normally entitles them to access to the lounge can also access the lounge, as the airline's other lounges remain closed. " Travelling can feel different, with service changes and new types of procedures in place, such as the mandatory use of face masks on our flights. However, we are delighted to be able to bring back familiar elements of our valued customer service while ensuring the health and safety of our customers and staff. "says Karim Al-Soufi, Vice President of Customer Experience at Finnair.
