Accor is making progress on a major MICE issue: online booking of meetings and events. The group has just announced the forthcoming launch of a platform through which organisers will have access to 2.5 million m² of event space and more than 800,000 rooms worldwide. Bringing together the offerings of the group's 5,600 hotels, the platform will have the added advantage of being linked to the ALL Accor loyalty programme, enabling points to be accumulated.

View rooms, book them at the same time as rooms or catering: the management of meetings and events will be going digital at the end of the year. Initially, in this pre-launch phase, this global website will enable online room reservations for groups of up to 30 rooms. An initial basis on which to other more strategic functions will be added at the beginning of 2026, with online booking of meeting rooms and residential seminars, as well as rooms and meeting rooms, alongside access to external channels.

This new platform is based on MeetingPackage, the online MICE booking centre used by Accor, but is part of a meetings and events ecosystem. Four tech players have worked with Accor to integrate their expertise to enhance the overall experience of the platform with solutions linked to hotel capacity. Among these partners are two suppliers offering management software tailored to small and medium-sized hotels: Backyou in Europe and North Africa and iVvy for the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the Middle East and the Americas.

For its part, Amadeus is contributing its Delphi solution, already adopted by more than 250 Accor establishments and designed for premium and luxury hotels, while Oracle will be the first of these players to be fully connected to MeetingPackage through the OPERA Cloud Sales and Event Management cloud application. This module, integrated into OPERA Cloud Property Management, brings together all of Accor's hotel services and will be offered in three versions: Premium for luxury hotels and large MICE establishments, Standard for smaller hotels and Essential for hotels without meeting rooms.

" At Accor, we are fortunate to work with the best players in the tech industry, who help us create a seamless and efficient user experience.said Julien Houdebine, Accor Sales and Revenue Director. Thanks to this new digital ecosystem dedicated to meetings and events, Accor's entire event offering will become more visible, more accessible and more attractive. "
