Since 21 October, Air Algérie has been offering a new route to N'Djamena in Chad, with a stopover in Douala. The carrier offers two frequencies per week. The Chadian authorities have granted the carrier "fifth freedom rights". This allows it to carry passengers from N'Djamena to Douala and vice versa.
The airline is also announcing the launch on 28 October of two weekly flights to Rotterdam. This will be followed on 1 November by its return to Budapest after a 5-year absence. The Hungarian capital will be served on a triangular route between Algiers-Budapest-Vienna-Algeria. There will also be two flights a week.
Air Algérie is finally strengthening its position in China. The airline is preparing to inaugurate flights to Guangzhou on 27 October. The airline will offer three frequencies per week with Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. It will also introduce its Airbus A330neo on two flights to Beijing. A third frequency is planned from mid-December.
Finally, the airline has announced that it plans to inaugurate a service to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia in spring 2026.
