Lovers of the great Canadian outdoors will now have access to a more spacious lounge when they pass through St. John's. Air Canada plans to open a Maple Leaf Lounge at the Eastern Canadian airport this autumn. This new waiting area, located in the recently enlarged departure area, will extend over 332 m², compared with 187 m² for the former lounge. The number of places has intrinsically increased from 38 to 84.
A number of services have been launched to cater for business travellers. A self-service bistro and bare will allow Air Canada passengers to satiate themselves before boarding. The bathrooms will offer them a chance to freshen up and the Samsung televisions will keep them entertained before a long flight.
" Che lounge will make it easier for business travellers to get through the airport, with a comfortable, quiet space in which to relax or work before their flight.
