Air France-KLM to charge for business class seat reservations

The information has just been published on the business portal for travel agencies and distribution networks. From 4 April, for all travel commencing on 13 April 2023, Air France and KLM are introducing Advanced Seat Reservations (ASR) in Business Class..

On this date, Business Class customers will be able to choose their seat for a fee. Fares vary between 70 and 90 euros. The system is modelled on what already exists for economy class.

However, there are exceptions Members Flying Blue Silver, Gold and Platinumas well as Corporate customers (excluding bluebiz) will continue to be able to choose their seat in Business class free of charge. Europe and North America routes are also excluded. (Canada, United States and Mexico).

However, Business Class customers can still choose their seat free of charge in the official check-in window.
