Now it's official. From 17 May until 29 October 2022, Air France will be linking Quebec Jean Lesage airport to Paris-Charles de Gaulle with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200 with a capacity of 224 seats (36 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 167 in Economy). The flight is in addition a free coach service connecting Montreal airport daily Trudeau to Quebec City. This route is accessible to all customers connecting from an Air France flight.

The new line has been enthusiastically welcomed by the people of Quebec City. In a press release, its mayor, Bruno Marchand, said. "This is a great day for the airport and for Quebec City, which is now one of only 4 cities in Canada to benefit from a direct flight with Air France. This agreement will generate major economic spin-offs for Quebec City [...] For our entrepreneurs, for whom France is their main export market, this agreement between Air France and the airport opens up a host of new opportunities. We couldn't hope for better in these times of economic recovery.
Air France benefits the C$2 million (€1.4 million) fund set up by the Quebec Ministry of Tourism to the development of routes from Quebec City airport. The French airline will thus be the second after Air Transat to land in the Quebec capital.
The Canadian leisure company is also benefiting from the Quebec support fund for the launch ofa line from London Gatwick to Quebec City. The carrier will start on 11 May, two weekly flights by A321neoLR. The line will be active until 27 September.
