Air France committed last spring to suspend its activity on the lines domestic servants. This decision applies to routes where the rail offers alternative in 2h30 maximum. While CDG has its own TGV station integrated into Terminal 2, passengers at Orly must go to the Massy TGV station 16 km from the terminal. Air France offers its passengers a taxi transfer for this 15-minute journey.
A more attractive alternative for passengers would be a direct TGV service to Orly. Unfortunately, it seems that the future Orly multimodal station will not include any TGV lines... It will, however, be the site of the future Grand Paris Express which will connect to Gare de Lyon in 23 minutes.
From Massy TGV, trains leave for Angers Saint-Laud, Champagne-Ardenne TGV, Le Mans, Lille Europe, Lorraine TGV, Lyon Part-Dieu, Nantes, Poitiers, Rennes, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps and Strasbourg. This offer only applies to passengers connecting to the French overseas departments or New York JFK.
For all other air routes, passengers departing from these same stations go directly to Roissy. Bordeaux would thus become the 15th destination for the Train + Air product. Air France management has not given a date for the moment. Train + Air service suspended until 13 December due to the health restrictions in place.
