Miami and Costa Rica on the rise
The Americas (including the Caribbean), Air France to continue its programme of three weekly flights to Dallas-Fort Worth from 14 to 19 weekly flights between Paris and Miami from 1 November. The carrier will also be adding a fifth weekly flight to San Jose to Costa Rica from 9 December. On St Maarten, the Dutch part of the island of Saint Martin, the airline will be offering ten weekly flights from CDG instead of one daily flight. However, the three additional frequencies replace three weekly flights previously scheduled from Orly. On the other hand, Air France is reducing its frequencies to Montreal and Seattle.
Indian Ocean up, Japan down
On the Indian Ocean, the airline is increasing the number of weekly flights on the Paris CDG-Male (Maldives)-Colombo (Sri Lanka) route from three to five. The additional frequencies will start on 14 December. ToMauritiusFrom 11 December until 8 January, the airline will be offering 10 weekly flights from CDG instead of 7.
Finally, there are a few changes on the Asia network: the company is taking over itshe direct line to Beijing on a weekly basis. The airline is replacing the current Paris CDG-Seoul Incheon-Tianjin route with a direct flight to the Chinese capital. There will be no change in frequencies in the short term.
Faced also with the difficulty of attracting international travellers to the Japan, the airline reduces the number of weekly flights between Paris and Tokyo Haneda from 7 to 5. On Osaka KansaiThe reduction is even more drastic, from 7 to 3 weekly flights.
