L'Luxembourg airport like many of Europe's hubs, is gradually returning to more normal traffic levels, with the Greater Region's main international airport covering the Grand Duchy, Rhineland-Palatinate, Lorraine and the Belgian province of Luxembourg. Some sixty destinations are offered.

Among the new features, the national airline Luxair launched flights on Oslo at a rate of three weekly flights. Since 3 June, it has also been offering two frequencies per week to Belgrade. From 19 June until the end of the summer, Luxair will be serving the town of Rostock in Germany, on the shores of the Baltic Sea. The Luxembourg airline has already announced the launch of four weekly flights to Dubai this autumn.

For its part, the Polish carrier LOT has resumed its flights between Luxembourg and Warsaw in June with two weekly frequencies. In July, the airline will increase to four flights a week. Swiss has also been back in Luxembourg since 4 June. The company offers two weekly frequencies to Zurich operated with a Helvetic Airways Embraer 190. Swiss will increase to four weekly flights from July.

The flight schedule to France is particularly dense with a dozen destinations.  Luxair connects Luxembourg with Paris, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Toulon and Corsica. The company has also taken over the Luxembourg-Geneva route.

Finally, on the low-cost side, Volotea has the largest offer, with frequencies to Marseille, Nice and Toulouse. Easyjet is also a problem in Bordeaux and Ryanair in Toulouse.
