Air Senegal is preparing to strengthen its catalogue in the business travel. Le 26 June next year, the airline will begin operations between Dakar and London's Stansted airport. The Airbus A321 will operate three flights a week, every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The aircraft will leave London Stansted at 7.50am for Dakar at 2.05pm. The return flight will take off at 0.15am frominternational airport Blaise Diagnearriving in London at 6.25am. This new Dakar-London route should particularly appeal to business customers, especially as the Senegalese hub enables Air Sénégal passengers to reach - among others - the Gambia, Sierra Leone, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, the Republic of Guinea and Nigeria.

We know that 400,000 people in London Stansted's catchment area currently travel to Dakar and other major African cities each year from other UK airports. ".
London is not the only top business destination to join the Air Sénégal network. A few days before the inauguration of the Dakar-Stansted flight, the Senegalese company will make his debut at Genevathe 18 June. Three flights a week will be operated every Monday, Thursday and Saturday by Airbus A-321, with 16 seats in business class and 149 in economy class. The flight will take off from Dakar at 00:50 and arrive in Geneva at 08:25. On the return journey, the A321 will leave Switzerland at 9.55am and land in Dakar at 1.50pm.
" For Geneva, this means the leading scheduled destination to West Africa since 1996 and a new stage in the strategy to develop long-haul flights to offer French-speaking Switzerland, its population and its businesses high-quality intercontinental services." says Geneva airport management. " This new destination is also an additional asset for Geneva International, as well as an opportunity for the region's business community and French-speaking African community." he added.
