B&B Hotels has just added an eighteenth country to its list of destinations, less remote from its bases than the United States, where the group made its debut last year: Luxembourg. With a hotel aimed primarily at business travellers, since it is located in the Cloche d'Or district, in full expansion since PwC moved its headquarters there in 2014, in the emblematic Crystal Park building. Alter Domus, BNP Paribas, Deloitte, Intesa San Paolo, local authorities and a Spaces coworking centre are just some of the companies that have joined Pwc, making this a new urban centre to which B&B Hotels is adding accommodation for the first time.
Close to the Parc de Gasperich, the Cloche d'Or district embodies a " new urban living "It is also home to the Lycée Français Vauban campus. Situated 4 kilometres from the centre of Luxembourg's capital, this "city of a quarter of an hour" makes plenty of room for soft mobility, with pedestrian zones, cycle paths and tram links to the city centre and the Kirchberg district, home to the European institutions.
Still under development, this district with high ambitions in terms of eco-responsibility should see 25,000 people pass through daily this year and 45,000 by 2035, between residents, students and company executives. A number of new office buildings are due to be added, all with sustainable certifications, such as The Stairs, which is due to open next year and will house the State Street bank, while others such as The Rock and The Terraces are at an advanced stage of development. PwC, the district's first occupier, is also due to move there in 2027, replacing a former Renault site in a new campus designed by Moreno Architecture & Associés.

Moreno Architecture & Associés, the firm responsible for this neighbourhood developed by developers Nextensa and Promobe, is also the designer of the B&B Luxembourg Centre Cloche d'OrThe hotel is expected to achieve BREEAM Excellent certification, thanks in particular to its 40 % of green roofs. A 3-star superior hotel where business travellers will find 150 modern and functional rooms, a large terrace and a convivial bar/lounge area, as well as a meeting room.
" This new opening not only strengthens the European footprint of B&B HOTELSbut also reaffirms our mission to offer accessible, quality hotels in strategic locations across Europe. "said Valerio Duchini, Managing Director of B&B Hotels for Western Europe.
