Benoît: Classics reinterpreted

This famous venue, which is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary in just over a year's time (early 2012), is one of the capital's last real luxury bistros.

The décor has been refreshed without altering its patina or charm. Orchestrated by Alain Ducasse, the cuisine skillfully reinterprets the great classics of the bourgeois and bistro tradition: calf's head, homemade cassoulet (exquisite), impeccably fresh sole and, for dessert, the unmissable chocolate profiteroles. This is one of the most sought-after business restaurants for gallery owners in the area. Who can blame them?

Benoît.
