BigBlank: the Air France-KLM start-up studio

The airline is encouraging innovative companies through the launch of a new subsidiary, the BigBlank start-up studio.

Reinventing travel, mobility and logistics "This is the aim of BigBlank, the start-up incubator set up by Air France-KLM. A subsidiary of the group, the start-up studio aims to use innovative ideas to create companies that will meet the future needs of travellers. To achieve this, BigBlank will help entrepreneurs transform their project into a start-up through a support programme lasting between 12 and 18 months. In terms of funding, BigBlank will invest up to €800,000 per company.

The expertise of the Air France-KLM group

Housed in BigBlank's offices in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, entrepreneurs can also take advantage of the following services expertise team members, including the studio's Managing Director Hubert Riondel, an Air France Boeing 777 pilot who is also the Air France-KLM Group's Director of Innovation. The rest of the team is made up of designers, developers and product managers ready to share their know-how with the selected entrepreneurs. They will also be able to draw on the expertise of Air France-KLM and its airlines.
