Volotea has just announced the opening of its 20th base in Europe and its 9th in France, in Brest. This base will be operational from April 2024. The company will base a Airbus A320 aircraft with a programme of some twenty destinations, including 13 new routes.
Among the new features, Volotea has already announced new services to Athens, Barcelona, Faro, Malaga, Menorca, Olbia, Palermo and Rome. Nearly 400,000 seats twice a week for each destination.
In addition, Volotea has just announced that it will be launching from Bordeaux to Palermo and Verona next April. A total of 30 destinations from the capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
In 2024, Volotea to operate over 450 routesThis represents a total of almost 13.3 million seats (+18% compared with 2023) offered by a fleet of 41 Airbus A319s and A320s.
