Contactless check-in kiosks at Emirates

Emirates has just launched a new contactless self-check-in service to improve passenger safety in the health sector, by checking kiosks from their smartphone.

Emirates fine-tunes its passenger journey "contactlesswith the introduction of contactless check-in kiosks. All in all, 16 kiosks are now available from the DubaiMore specifically, in the economy class check-in area of the terminal 3. First and business class check-in areas will also soon be equipped.

Business travellers can use these new kiosks from their smartphone, without having to touch the screen, to check in, receive their boarding pass, choose their seat on board and drop off their baggage. All destinations on the Emirates network are eligible for this new service, except those with specific measures in place, notably flights to the United States, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong. Emirates has already made a name for itself in the field of contactless travel, using biometrics to make the passenger's itinerary and passage through the various checkpoints as smooth as possible.
