Much of the work has been produced since 2005, when David Hockney returned to live in Bridlington, in the north of England, in the rolling countryside of his childhood. These views are transcended by the light of the different seasons, always from the same angle. It's as if his eye has always been on the lookout for nature's transformations. This exhibition also features his earlier work, such as A Closer Grand Canyon from 1998, which brings together no fewer than sixty small canvases. It's also an opportunity to discover his photographic work, for which he has tested every new technology, from the Polaroid to the iPhone and iPad.
