Delta Air Lines and GOL extend their cooperation

Code-sharing, reciprocal use of lounges, as well as Delta's investment in the Brazilian airline: the two airlines' activities will be increasingly linked.

The networks of Delta Air Lines, a member of SkyTeam, and GOL, which represents 40% of the Brazilian market, are going to be increasingly closely linked. Indeed, the conclusion of an exclusive commercial alliance will lead to the extension of code-sharing. This will enable Delta to open up to a fast-growing market and GOL to develop its international routes. In addition, their frequent flyers will benefit from special recognition on both airlines, with access to lounges around the world. Another term of this agreement is that Delta will invest 100 million dollars in the Brazilian airline and will sit on GOL's board of directors.
