Passengers travelling to South America from France now have new options Alternative routes to Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
Since the introduction of the IATA winter timetable, Delta Air Lines has densified its South American network from its Atlanta hub. Delta's stronger presence is due to the intensification of the company's partnership with its Latin American counterpart Latam. A joint venture between the two companies was recently approved by the US authorities.
This partnership gives passengers the opportunity to access to over 300 destinations between the USA/Canada and South America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay). Delta can thus offer more code share routes with the entire Latam Airlines Group, which includes Latam Airlines Chile, Latam Airlines Brazil, Latam Airlines Colombia, Lata Airlines Peru and LATAM Airlines Paraguay.
Since 26 October, Delta offers a daily flight to Buenos Aires, Ezeiza International Airport.. Since 29 October, the American carrier has also been offering a daily flight to Santiago de Chile. The flight to Buenos Aires is operated by Boeing 767-400 with 238 seats, the flight to Santiago by Airbus A350-900 with a capacity for 339 passengers.
Finally, Delta adds a second daily flight to Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport from Atlanta. The frequency will be launched on 17 December, just in time for the festive season.
