
Why did you choose to work in Hamburg?
Joël Fournier - After studying in France and having a German mother, I found my first job in Frankfurt. Much later, I was contacted by Steria Germany to develop the administrative and financial department of its new subsidiary in Hamburg. Contrary to stereotypes, the people of Hamburg are neither cold nor aloof. They may be reserved at first contact, but they are capable of quickly forging professional and friendly links.
What advice would you give to a French company looking to set up in Germany?

J. F. - Airbus is the largest French company in Hamburg.
However, it is not a major industrial city, but a city of trade. In addition to logistics, the main areas of activity are advertising, renewable energies and the media. In these fields, there will always be opportunities for a dynamic and innovative entrepreneur.
