On 17 June, Egencia is celebrating a house-warming party of strategic importance in Courbevoie. Not that the move was particularly far away - just a few hundred metres separate the Aegean Tower from the former premises of the Franklin Tower - but the group's new address in the Paris region claims a prestigious status, that of Egencia's new European headquarters. "It's a powerful symbol," says Christophe Peymirat, Senior Vice President EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), pointing out that "it's in France and Europe that Egencia's success story has been written, from digital start-up to world leader in business travel. "The establishment of our new European headquarters in Paris - La Défense confirms the Group's desiré to continue developing its businesś in France," adds Christophe Peymirat. Egencia's new address will therefore bring together within the Tour Egée the teams responsible for developing TMC in France, certain customer service teams, as well as various international teams whose mission will be to enrich the Egencia offering. These are all specialists in business travel and the technological tools designed to simplify it, who can now enjoy a more functional working environment. Each of the 400 or so employees working on the four Egencia floors of the Aegean Tower now benefits from four times more space, in a modern and bright environment. "This is recognition of the work accomplished and the many successes that have marked the last fifteen years," says Christophe Peymirat. "Through this move to larger premises, Egencia and Expédia intend to optimise everyone's skills".
