
The iconic Emirates A380 will be back on the tarmac atNice airport from 31 March 2024. By offering additional seats, Emirates responds to market demand and offers even more travel opportunities to Dubai and beyond to its customers.
In 2024, the airline will also be celebrating its 30 years old operations in Nice, demonstrating its contribution to the economy and its roots in the region.
Cédric Renard, Managing Director of Emirates in Francesaid: " The return of the Emirates A380 to Nice once again demonstrates Emirates' commitment to France and the Côte d'Azur. The reintroduction of the A380 will help to meet the growing demand for flights to the South of France, which is set to increase with the forthcoming sporting eventssuch as Olympic and Paralympic Games and the arrival of the Tour de France in the Côte d'Azur capital. "
Nice will not be the only destination in France to benefit from additional capacity to the United Arab Emirates. From April 1, Emirates will also increase the frequency of its flights to Lyon. The company will thus serve daily frequency France's second largest city, by Boeing 777-300ER.
All in all, Emirates serves France this winter with 34 weekly passenger flights. This means 21 weekly flights from Paris, 6 weekly flights from Lyon and 7 weekly flights from Nice.
