Business travellers appreciate the benefits of mobility, according to a CWT study

Happy are those who, like Ulysses... "According to the latest CWT studyBusiness travellers are also happy to see new places on their business trips. According to figures recently published by the TMC, the positive aspects of a trip outweigh the negative. Enthusiasm even peaks in the American market, where up to 94% of business travellers stress the good side of their mobility, compared with 79 % of French travellers.

" Travelling to a new destination, meeting someone face-to-face for the first time, expanding your network and getting away from the routine of work are among the most exciting factors associated with business travel, according to our findings. "notes Niklas Andréen, Executive VP and Chief Traveler Experience Officer at CWT, who adds: " It is important to recognise the true value of business travel and understand its benefits ".

According to the results of this CWT study, French business travellers appreciate their trips because they enable them to get to know your contacts better (38 %), to establish a relationship of trust (29%) and to remain focused on the more direct exchanges or by telephone or email (29 %).

Another finding of the study is that bleisure seems to have become common practice. In fact, a large majority of companies (76%) are now in favour of extending a business trip into a personal holiday, although the people we spoke to in France were more cautious on the subject, with the figure falling to 68%.
