Transavia, the Air France-KLM Group's low-cost airline, is offering even more ways to earn and spend Miles on flights within Europe and to the Mediterranean. Transavia France is now offering its Flying Blue customers the chance to earn Miles on all rates - Basic, Plus and Max - and also earn XP (or Experience Points) by booking a flight operated by Transavia. Until now, only the Plus and Max fares allowed such accumulation.
The number of Miles earned increases with status. For each return flight booked, passengers earn points starting from 200 Miles and 4 XP. Miles can be used to purchase an award ticket on one of Flying Blue's partner airlines. A certain number of Miles can also be used to take advantage of offers from other partners in the frequent flyer programme.
In addition, Transavia customers can now pay all fares in Flying Blue Miles. Until now, only the Basic fare was payable in Miles.
