With line 14 at a single stop and the Orly Val extension (two stops), 11 minutes would separate the two infrastructures, air and rail. However, the creation of a TGV station at Pont d'Orly is not a new project, as this site was put out to tender in 2008 by Réseau Ferré de France with three other possible locations: The heart of Orly (9 minutes by Orlyval), Rungis-La Fraternelle (10 minutes by Orlyval) and as close as possible to the terminals (5 minutes on foot). This is currently the easiest and, above all, least expensive solution to implement (€135m in 2008 for an above-ground station), which seems to be back on the tarmac.
