GBTA France will hold its first meeting in mid-February, under the leadership of Yann Le Goff, who has been appointed chairman for a two-year term. He will be joined by Jean-Pierre Drioux, appointed General Secretary, and Paul Tilstone, Treasurer. The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), which has just formalised this new entity, is already looking beyond the French market: "The association will be GBTA's first branch in Europe, will create a new network of business travel buyers and suppliers in France and will develop a wider French-speaking network, which GBTA launched last year, by involving other French-speaking professionals (Canadians and Africans) in the GBTA network". The association, a leader in the global business travel industry, also announced its expansion objectives in Europe, which should be supported by this first national branch on the Old Continent.
