The new Global 8000 jet has a top speed of Mach 0.94. Which makes it the fastest business jet in the air. Another first: during a demonstration flight, the Global 8000 was the first aircraft to fly supersonically on sustainable jet fuel (SAF).
The appliance must be commissioned in 2025. And will therefore become the fastest aircraft...

The new Global 8000 jet has a top speed of Mach 0.94. Which makes it the fastest business jet in the air. Another first: during a demonstration flight, the Global 8000 was the first aircraft to fly supersonically on sustainable jet fuel (SAF).
The appliance must be commissioned in 2025. It will therefore become the fastest aircraft since Concorde. At the time, Concorde was cruising at Mach 2.02 (2,145 km/h). Supersonic status is given to any vehicle travelling faster than the speed of sound (approximately 1,235 kilometres per hour or Mach 1).
The Global 8000 will have one of the longest autonomous ranges in the world at 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km).. With its very long range and near supersonic speed, the business jet will be ideal for very long-haul routes. Bombardier cites non-stop routes such as Dubai-Houston, Singapore-Los Angeles, London-Perthamong others.
Absolute comfort on board
On board, the aircraft will offer a high level of comfort. With its four personalised suites ergonomically designed to maximise space and freedom of movementThe Global 8000 also incorporates technological features dedicated to passenger comfort. These include low altitude cabin pressurisationthe Soleil circadian lighting system which helps combat jet lag, as well as the "Nuage" seata zero-gravity seat that will allow passengers to arrive at their destination in tip-top shape.
It will also be possible to create a private master suite with bed and bathroom incorporating a shower.
