Le IHG Group has just added a second establishment in France for its lifestyle brand Hotel Indigo. After the one opened in Paris, in the Opéra district, in 2014, we are now heading for the Mediterranean with a new hotel in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Thanks to its location along the coast, the hotel caters primarily for leisure guests, offering them a base camp from which to explore the Côte d'Azur and appreciate the charm of this town, whose castle is a reminder of its medieval origins. Its coastline and surrounding nature have also inspired painters such as Chaïm Soutine, Yves Klein and Renoir, whose home in Cagnes, where he spent the last years of his life, now houses a museum dedicated to this major painter of Impressionism.
However, just 15 minutes from Nice Côte d'Azur airport, the hotel is also an ideal base for business groups, enabling them to combine meetings with exploring the region. To this end, the hotel offers two modular daylight rooms. For business travellers, Hotel Indigo Cagnes-sur-Mer offers the following facilities 87 roomsThe rooms are decorated in blue and white, in the spirit of a relaxing seaside retreat. In terms of relaxation, the hotel has added a rooftop pool with panoramic views of the Château Grimaldi, as well as an Italian restaurant, Cucina Victoria, with a seafood menu and specialities such as Fritto Misto and prawn risotto.
After the Côte d'Azur, Hotel Indigo will be continuing to expand, with several establishments due to open by the end of 2021 in the United States, notably in New York, in the Flushing district, as well as in the French Quarter of New Orleans and Vancouver, in the state of Washington. With 129 boutique hotels worldwideThe company expects to open 116 more in the coming years, including Hotel Indigo Vienna in Austria, Hotel Indigo Brisbane in Australia and two hotels in Japan, Hotel Indigo Karuizawa and Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden.
