Astana strengthens its hub position with Air Astana

Air Astana reported a 10 % increase in passenger numbers and a 17 % increase in revenue in the first half of 2018 compared with the same period of 2017.

Air Astana reports a 10 % increase in passenger numbers in the first half of 2018

La growth of Air Astana is due to the performance of international traffic, up 22 %. The increase in international capacity - with new routes to Tyumen and Kazan in addition to the additional frequencies ofAstana to London, Delhi and Almaty, BakuDushanbe, Hong Kong, SeoulBeijing and Bishkek - have helped to strengthen the Astana hub, which has welcomed more than 320,000 passengers in the first half, an increase of 75 %. Transfer traffic accounts for 30 % of traffic.
