Iberia returns to Montevideo

Iberia will resume operations between Madrid and Montevideo from 1 September, with timetables adapted to facilitate connections for French business travellers.

In total, no fewer than 2,300 seats will be offered each week by Iberia between Madrid and Montevideo. The Spanish airline explains its return to the Uruguayan capital by the reduction in base costs generated by the restructuring carried out in 2013. As a result, Montevideo will become Iberia's 16th busiest city.th destination connected by Iberia in Latin America.
