IFEMA Madrid's management noted that it had been " spearheaded the revival of the trade fair and conference sector by hosting FITUR in January, a success followed by 145 trade fairs, conferences and events and leisure activities in the first six months of the year ".
The International Tourism Fair therefore kicked off a 2022 financial year that was much more in keeping with the Spanish capital's status, by bringing together over 100,000 professionals representative 127 countries. In its wake, the 145 events which have taken place in IFEMA Madrid's facilities have enabled us to reach an audience of 720,000 people and 8,580 companiesof which nearly a quarter (22%) were international companies.
With half-year sales of more than 115 million euros - management talk of a record Madrid Congress Centre has even announced that it is now back to pre-pandemic business volumes. IFEMA Madrid's management estimates that 178 million euros annual revenues for the 2022 financial year, a figure in increase of 80% compared with last year.
