The first two projects in this new partnership are already known: the Holiday Inn Express Hamburg South and Holiday Inn Express Leipzig South. The first has been "in the pipeline" for two years, and work has already begun. It is due to open inSummer 2023with the establishment totalling 80 rooms. The second will offer an equivalent number of rooms (79), with IHG managers referring to two "twin" establishments. The Holiday Inn Express Leipzig South will open a few months later, in end of 2023. It will feature a coworking space and will be positioned as a sustainable address. IHG and its partner have opted for a geothermal heating system and the installation of solar panels.
New business and MICE addresses in Turkey
Another key market for the future of IHG in the EMEA region is the Turkey. New developments were formalised on 24 OctoberThese include a number of business destinations.
