The swiss federal railways will enable before the end of 2024 even more flexible planning of trips abroad.
In addition to buying at the ticket office and on the SBBnew features on the application will meet in a single location trip planning, ticket purchasing and digital support. These services, already available for travel within Switzerland, will be extended to international travel.
Early November, Mobile CFF will make it possible to book connections to neighbouring countries and the Benelux countries.. International travel will also be available to London, Bratislava and Barcelona. But also to other routes in neighbouring countries.
On the other hand, tickets for night trains cannot yet be booked via SBB Mobile. However, they are available for purchase at www.cff.ch or at the ticket office.
Users already have the opportunity to test the new functions in the application SBB Preview since 5 September.
In the SBB Preview app, certain functions for purchasing international tickets and making reservations are not yet available - they will be added gradually. Visit new version of the application is available in the App Store and Google Play and will be rolled out in stages.
