The flight will connect Rome Fiumicino at the airport Indira Gandhi. It will be carried out in Airbus A330three times a week. The flight departs from Rome at 2.10pm and arrives at 2am every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. On the return journey, the ITA Airways aircraft will leave New Delhi at 3.50pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. It will return to Rome airport at 3.50pm.
With this new flight, ITA Airways is targeting not only Italian business travellers but also a number of other European markets. Relying on " a favourable timetable "and carefully planned connections "ITA also intends to capture flows between India and France, Germany, Spain and North America.
New Delhi will join a long-haul catalogue that currently includes Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, New York, Boston, Miami and Los Angeles.
