The strike action planned in Italy on 17 July should particularly affect employees of three low-cost airlines, namely easyJet, Volotea and Ryanair. The air traffic controllers are also affected by this industrial action which, initially scheduled to last 24 hours, has been reduced to four hours.
" Despite the reduction in the strike from 24 hours to 4 hours imposed by the Strike Guarantee Committee, the pilots and cabin crew of these airlines will be taking further protest action in compliance with the rules, given the unacceptable conditions in which they are still forced to work. "notes the Uiltrasporti union.
