
The service to Kabul's Khwaja Rawash Airport will be operated daily by Airbus A340-500 equipped with 12 seats in first class, 42 seats in business class and 204 in economy class. Departures from Dubai, which start on 4 December 2013, are scheduled for 9.50am, with an arrival in the Afghan capital at 1.15pm. The return flight is scheduled for 15:30, landing in Dubai at 18:00. "We expect this flight to be particularly popular with business passengers, as well as Afghan nationals travelling to their home country to visit relatives," predicts Barry Brown, Divisional Vice President at Emirates, who also points out that "this will be the only first class flight between Dubai and Kabul".
