Business travellers heading for Kenya will find their journeys disrupted on 7 August for an as yet undetermined period: a large-scale fire ravaged the immigration area and arrivals hall of Jomo Kenyatta airport overnight, leading to the cancellation of all flights in and out of Nairobi. Flights are therefore being diverted to Mombasa (in the south of the country) and Eldoret (in the west), as well as to neighbouring countries. The cause of the fire, which caused no casualties, is not yet known.
