Alitalia is preparing to expand its offer on the French market by strengthening its presence in Marseille, Montpellier and Nice.
Business travel to Rome will be made easier this summer by the extension of Alitalia's operations on the French market (+10%). The Italian airline will be doubling its flights between Marseille and Fiumicino airports. From 1 May, a new departure from Marseille will be scheduled at 5.40pm, arriving in Rome at 7.05pm, except on Tuesdays. From Rome, the flight will take off at 3.25pm, arriving at 4.50pm. On 1 May, Alitalia will also be adding a third weekly service between Rome and Montpellier, with connections every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Finally, Nice airport will benefit from a third service from June to September. These new flights will be operated by Airbus A319s, configured in two classes: business and economy.
