What are your results on the Paris-Doha line?
Qatar Airways will have carried 350,000 passengers on its Paris-Doha route in its 2010 financial year to the end of March, representing growth of more than 35% in one year. At 80%, our French passengers are continuing their journey beyond Doha, mainly to Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, China and India. The opening of a second daily flight in November 2009 coincided with a recovery in traffic, particularly in the business segment. The market reacted well to this addition, Paris being a very popular destination for customers from the Gulf and Asia.
What are your ambitions for the Nice-Doha line, which opened at the end of November?
We are expecting excellent results for our three weekly flights thanks to a large passenger pool - particularly in the high contribution segment - between Nice, Sophia Antipolis and Monaco. Qatar Airways has a highly efficient hub, offering short connections to 17 destinations on this flight.
Would you like more flights to Paris?
From Roissy CDG, Qatar Airways operates two flights a day, offering excellent connections to India and the Indian subcontinent. With a high load factor, fluctuating between 80 % and 90 % depending on the month, the airline is set to further increase its frequencies to meet strong market demand. To supply these flights, two new tgvair stations have been added: Aix en Provence and Avignon. This brings to 19 the number of cities linked to our Paris flights, with even greater flexibility for all our customers.
What's more, since 31 January, Qatar Airways has been offering five flights a week from Brussels, satisfying our customers in the north of France who now have a choice between tgvair from Lille or our flights from Brussels.
