Le Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Kingdom of Morocco to reopen its airports and ports for international travel from 15 June. The measure was decided at a time when the covid epidemic now appears to be under control. Morocco has also vaccinated almost ten million of its nationals.
The Moroccan community living abroad will therefore be able to return to the country, just like all foreign travellers. The only conditions: have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or have a negative screening test for coronavirus. The country can only be opened to foreign nationals on the Ministry's A list. This includes in particular France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Transavia back with a bang
However, the following are not considered valid for entry into the Cherifian Kingdom people vaccinated in the last four weeks and/or fitted witha PCR test. It must have valid for less than 48 hours. The Ministry states that all international airports are once again open to flights from abroad. For the maritime sector, only routes departing from the ports of Sète and Genoa are authorised.
From France, the airlines Air France, Royal Air Maroc, Easyjet, Air Arabia Maroc, Volotea, Ryanair and Transavia. The company has just confirmed that it will be resuming flights from five French airports from 15 June.
From Paris-OrlyTransavia will be landing in Agadir, Casablanca, Marrakech, Oujda, Rabat and Tangiers. From Lyonit will serve Agadir, Marrakech and Oujda; from Montpellier she will go to Marrakech and Nantes to Agadir, Casablanca and Marrakech. Finally, Transavia will also be offering a flight between Bastia and Fez.
