
HongKong Airlines is changing its baggage policy. In a press release published on 3 September, the Asian airline announced that passengers are now authorised to travel with two pieces of baggage weighing 23kg in total in Economy class and 3 pieces of baggage weighing 23kg per piece in Business class, free of charge. For frequent travellers who are members of the Fortune Wings frequent flyer programme, three pieces of baggage weighing 46kg in total are authorised in Economy class (2 pieces of baggage weighing 23kg in total + 1 other piece of baggage weighing 23kg) and 4 pieces of baggage weighing 23kg per piece in Business class, again free of charge. For the Hong Kong/Moscow route, the policy is the same, with an authorised weight of 32kg.
