The Accor group has strengthened its presence in Côte d'Ivoire with the inauguration within a few months of each other of two establishments in the same location in Abidjan. After an Adagio Original urban residence With 110 studios and flats, the complex was completed in November with the unveiling of the Novotel Abidjan Marcory, linked by a shared courtyard with swimming pool and terrace.
Located on boulevard Giscard d'Estaing, around ten minutes from Félix Houphouët-Boigny airport and close to the Plateau business districtFor business travellers, the hotel offers 201 rooms, including 10 suites, as well as a signature Mediterranean restaurant, Liva, and its poolside counterpart, Liva Pool, and, for cigar and cocktail lovers, the L'Escale lounge.
As with the brand's new establishments, the Novotel Abidjan Marcory is part of its contemporary evolution and design with rooms inspired by the Sundukovy Sisters studio, restaurants designed by Joanna Pera Duvocelle and, more generally, flexible spaces that encourage both relaxation and work.
For business trips, the hotel adds three meeting rooms ranging from 31 m² to 308 m² in size. The latter, the Sirocco room, can accommodate up to 300 people but can also be subdivided into two areas of 142 and 97 m². Residents of the Adagio apart-hotel have access to this MICE area, as well as to the swimming pool, restaurants and 24-hour fitness centre.
With eight establishments in the Ivorian capital today, including the famous Sofitel Hotel Ivoire, as well as Pullman, Mövenpick and Ibis Styles establishments, Accor's offer is set to expand further in the near future with another project in progress. Supported by investor Kasada, close to the French group and specialising in the development of the African hotel industry, another dual-brand Ibis Styles and Adagio complex is currently under construction. in the Yopougon districtfor an expected opening next year.
