An ideal location in the heart of the city

Ideally located on the port of Nice, the Centre des Congrès OcéaNice is in the heart of the city, in a vibrant and authentic district. Thanks to tramway line 2, the centre can be reached in just 25 minutes from Nice Côte d'Azur international airport. Once there, conference delegates can enjoy all the advantages of Nice without any constraints. The city's main points of interest are all within a 10-minute walk: Vieux-Nice, the Promenade des Anglais, Place Garibaldi, Place Masséna and many other shops, restaurants and cultural venues. Finally, in terms of accommodation, there are around 4,000 hotel rooms within a 20-minute walk of the OcéaNice centre.

An eco-responsible centre

The OcéaNice centre combines performance and respect for the environment by integrating respectful use of resources and controlled energy performance (photovoltaic panels, gas-fired VRV system, LED lighting, reinforced thermal insulation).
In terms of resources, everything has been thought through down to the smallest detail, from the rainwater recovery system to the furniture made from recycled materials.
Finally, the service providers working on the site have been carefully selected on the basis of their commitment to sustainable development.

From the outset, OcéaNice has been designed to last. A legacy of the UNOC, the building is modular, demountable and designed using 94% of materials that can be reused, recycled or re-employed. Modules B and C (the LYMPIA building and the ferry terminal) are made from reused structures inherited from the 2024 Olympics and stored in Nantes, and all the technical components come from France and Italy.

A timetable already underway

After hosting the UNOC in June 2025, the OcéaNice convention centre was unveiled to the general public during the immersive exhibition "L'Océan de Léa" throughout the summer of 2025. This exhibition was part of the Year of the Sea programme, and gave the public the chance to discover the new building in a poetic origami marine setting. Exhibitions for the general public will be held on a long-term basis, with one scheduled for each summer at OcéaNice.

In 2026, the OcéaNice site will host Nice Boating Tomorrow from 19 to 22 March. It's an international event dedicated to boating, with professional exhibitors on land and in the water, as well as demonstrations at sea, made possible by the convention centre's location on the port of Nice.
