Oman Air will soon be offering daily services between Paris and Muscat. The airline has just made official the densification of its French catalogue, which will result in a 29% increase in capacity compared with 2015.
The addition of a seventh weekly flight will start on October 30th. Business travellers will then be able to leave Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport at 9.10pm each weekday, arriving in Muscat at 7.20am the following morning. On the return journey, the Boeing 787-Dreamliner will leave the Sultanate at 2.30pm. He is due to arrive in France at 7.35pm the same day.
Present in Paris sinceOctober 2009Since then, Oman Air has been the only airline to offer direct flights between Paris and Muscat. The carrier has since gradually ramped up its services, adding a fifth weekly flight in October 2015, followed by a sixth in March this year.
In addition to the point-to-point flights offered to the many business travellers who visit Muscat, Oman Air is banking on the connections offered to destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Dubai, Doha, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Manila. In addition, the airline will be flying to Najaf, Iraq, on 15 September, with four flights a week. Oman Air will then have no fewer than 51 destinations in 28 countriesbut is already looking further ahead: the carrier has set itself the target of covering 75 destinations worldwide by 2020.
